Xbox hinted at showing two highly anticipated games at its summer presentation

Game News

It’s about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Avowed.

Last week, Microsoft announced the date for the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct, an annual big event that this time includes a standalone showcase for Bethesda Game Studios’ action-RPG. And recently it became known about two more projects that are highly likely to be shown on the show.

Hints were found on the account of Xbox marketing vice president Aaron Greenberg. He updated his profile photo Twitter and added some images. One of the pictures is the updated Xbox logo. In its background is a tree with hanging bodies. Such a frame was present in the trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and refers to the dark world of the game.

And on top of the image are arrows. This may be a nod to the action-RPG Avowed. In the debut video of the game, they showed the flight of fire arrows through different locations. Most likely, Microsoft is preparing to announce the release dates of the two projects.

What to expect from the Xbox Games Showcase

  • As part of the presentation, already announced games from Microsoft’s internal studios will be shown exactly. This includes Fable, Avowed, Forza Motorsport 7 and so on. Surely the company has in store and a few announcements.
  • As for the projects of partners, here the scope for imagination is huge. Microsoft has a good relationship with CD Projekt RED, so you can count on the announcement of the release date of the addition to Cyberpunk 2077 or even a teaser for the new Witcher.
  • Still to be announced when Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released. Last year, the trailer for the game was shown at a presentation by Microsoft.
