Which PC do you need for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Game News

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store later this month.

Sony is actively bringing major PlayStation games to PC. At the end of the month, for example, the platformer Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will get a re-release – it was one of the first PS5 exclusives and the main advertising project during the release of the Sony console.

Rift Apart’s system requirements were released earlier today, and they’re pretty low by today’s standards. Moreover, Sony’s big words about “impossible to run the game without an SSD” were a bit of a lie – it will easily run even on a computer with an HDD.

Minimum requirements (720p, 30 fps)

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • disk space: 75 GB HDD.
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • disk space: 75 GB SSD.

For high quality (1440, 60 fps / 4K, 30 fps)

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • disk space: 75 GB SSD.

In addition, the company shared two configurations required to run the game with ray tracing enabled, in 4K resolution and at 60 frames per second. They can be seen in the image above. The main difference is that ray tracing will require 32 GB of RAM instead of 16 GB.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is already available for pre-order on the Epic Games Store and Steam for 1699 UAH. The release itself will take place on July 26 this year.

Also coming to PC in July is Capcom’s unusual dinosaur game, a continuation of the cult tactical series, as well as several smaller titles. GNM talked about the most anticipated games of July 2023.
