the Steam Deck is a hit, Elden Ring and Cyberpunk follow

Game News

Like every week, the Steam charts allow us to know what were the 10 best sellers of the past week on the Valve Software platform.

This week, the Steam charts have evolved quite a bit. We note with surprise that the best seller is not a game, but hardware. The Steam Deck is in first place in the weekly ranking, while delivery times are still very uncertain for the moment. This proves that this type of machine largely appeals to players, that they are ready to pay the price, but also to take their troubles patiently. Remember that regardless of the model chosen, no delivery will be made before October if you place an order today. In second position, we find Elden Ring. It’s not really a surprise, since the From Software game has established itself as one of the hits of this first half.

V’s Return

More surprisingly, Cyberpunk 2077 climbs to the third step of the podium. a short visit to the Steam store allows us to understand the reason. CD Projekt RED’s latest game is getting a 50% discount, bringing its price down to €30. With the latest updates that continue to improve the state of the game, players are therefore more easily tempted by the most anticipated game of 2020. The chocolate medal goes to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which also obtains the fifth place, thanks to its Deluxe Edition. The title allows us to relive the events of the 9 films of the Skywalker saga, and incidentally caught the eye of Camille who gave it a nice 8/10 in our columns.

We find hardware in sixth position, with the presence of the Valve Index VR Kit. The fact that Steam gamers are buying the full kit lets us see that VR is still enjoying a nice buzz, even if the hype seems to have died down a bit. It is No Man’s Sky which occupies the seventh position. Hello Games’ game is surfing on the arrival of the Outlaws update which has attracted players. We can also see on Steam DB that the title has no less than 12,000 players at the moment.
