the series returns with a trailer after 10 years of absence

While superbike fans have been chomping at the bit since 2012 and the release of SBK Generations, the series is finally making a comeback this year. We are entitled to a first trailer.

We didn’t expect it anymore, but the Superbike is back. While Milestone and Dorna (which owns the rights to most of the championships) focused on MotoGP and the various gravel disciplines like MXGP or AMA Supercross, WSBK is coming back from the dead. It must be said that the last episode of the series, WSBK Generations was released in 2012, and that the championship had not appeared in a video game since.

SBK 22 will therefore allow us to dive into the official 2022 World SBK championship via a career mode which will include trials, superpoles and races. We will of course find all the circuits of the championship, the teams and their drivers. Gameplay level, we suspect that Milestone knows how to do, since all the somewhat serious motorcycle games come from the Italian pharmacy.

We are thus promised tire wear more real than life thanks to the collaboration with Pirelli, but also particularly fine fuel management which will impact the weight and balance of the bike. Facing us, we will find the AI ANNA that we have seen in other Milestone productions, and which will therefore make its arrival in SBK 22. We will also be entitled to the classic customization options of the Italian studio’s productions.

Regulars will find a sticker, helmet, number and even butt patch editor. Better, know that the multiplayer has not been forgotten with races up to 12 players online. The best news in all of this? SBK 22 will be released on September 15, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X.
