It is only at the very beginning of June that we already have the right to the first rumor concerning Nvidia. This time it’s the RTX 4090, that’s what we can learn.
Once again the information comes from VideoCardz, which is always very well informed when it comes to graphics cards (logic). So the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 should now arrive in August. Information from VideoCardz also indicates that the RTX 4080 would have a launch date in September while the RTX 4070 should arrive in October.
kopite7kimi who is also always very well informed even confirmed the information via his Twitter account. It still smells very good.
Plans may change at Nvidia
However, the site specifies that certain dates may change because Nvidia RTX 30 stocks are still numerous, an obvious commercial logic.
On the characteristics side, VideoCardz tells us that the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 would use two different GPUs. Namely AD102 and AD103 based on the Nvidia Ada Lovelace architecture, obviously. However, according to the same information, the two cards would use the same printed circuit which suggests that the two GPUs could offer the same pins. The design could therefore be identical.
In short, a lot of information to be taken with a grain of salt of course, but generally the sources of VideoCardz are quite reliable. We just have to wait for this summer to find out for sure. Indeed, some rumors speak of an Nvidia conference as early as July.
