Paris Games Week finally back in 2022

Game News

Face-to-face video game fairs are finally back. If E3 will remain absent this year again, Gamescom and Paris Games Week will be back in 2022.

Notice to fans of fairs where you have to stand in line for 2 hours to test a game! After three years of absence, Paris Games Week will make its big comeback at Porte de Versailles.

PGW 2022 back in November

It just fell. Paris Games Week 2022 will be held from November 2 to 6, still at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles. As usual, the French show will be open a day earlier to welcome industry professionals. The general public will be able to reserve their tickets from June 15 on the official website of the event.

“The French video game will find its party. What an immense joy to be able to meet again! We are going to offer all our communities of players who are so committed, this benchmark event that they have helped to shape for more than 10 years and which has been missed so much. We have used the last two years to design this edition; a reunion that promises to be unforgettable »

– Nicolas Vignolles, General Delegate of SELL.

An edition under the sign of reunion

The Syndicate of Leisure Software Publishers (SELL), however, did not communicate on the capacity of the event or on the exhibitors. We imagine that the usual publishers will take the opportunity to reconnect face-to-face with their fans. The Games Made In France stand should be back to give pride of place to French creations. One thing is certain, this special edition will be “ placed under the sign of reunion », announces the organizer on its official website.

A little surprise is therefore not excluded, especially in a context where E3 no longer reigns supreme and where announcements are distilled throughout the year. The show could, for example, open with a conference, as was the case in 2017 with PlayStation, for example. On this occasion, the Japanese publisher announced Ghost of Tsushima and Concrete Genie in addition to giving news of its other cartridges. We also remember the 2015 edition where Quantic Dream revealed Detroit Become Human in broad daylight.
