It’s about restarting Saints Row.
The new part of Saints Row, which was also a restart of the series, turned out to be a weak game. This is confirmed by user reviews and the press on Metacritic. Journalists gave around 6 points, and users – 2.5 points. At the same time, the game sold well: in October 2022, it was reported that the project had attracted more than a million users. And very soon the figure may grow, because Saints Row is preparing to be released on Steam.
At release, Volition and Deep Silver were exclusive to the Epic Games Store. But it seems that the contract was signed for a year, as is the case with most large projects. This is hinted at by the appearance of the Saints Row page in the Steam database.
It was created under the name Project Athena back in October 2017. And recently, thanks to the Steam DB website, it became known that we are talking about an action game from Volition. Most likely, the release of Saints Row in the Valve service will take place in August 2023.
Saints Row – more about the game
- This is a third-person action game set in the fictional city of Santo Ileso in the southwestern United States.
- The plot is dedicated to a group of young people who decided to build their own criminal empire. They challenged the existing factions and entered into a struggle for influence.
- The gameplay in the project includes gunfights using a variety of weapons, the use of all sorts of crazy devices, car rides, and so on.
- Saints Row was released on August 23, 2022 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.
