Dying Light 2: Stay Human update 1.3.0 is here and with it the addition of New Game Plus. It also corrects technical elements, related to co-op or FOV on PS5 and Xbox Series.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human Update 1.3.0 is rolling out this Wednesday, April 27, 2022 on consoles and PC. The big novelty of this update is undoubtedly the NG+ promised by Techland a few weeks ago. But it’s also an opportunity to fix bugs or implement new options.
A New Game Plus for Dying Light 2
You can start a second game of Dying Light 2 in NG+ mode. You keep your previous progress but to make it really interesting, Techland has tweaked the behavior of enemies, added more complicated encounters and imported, for example, thirty new inhibitors. Consumables to boost your health, stamina etc. The distribution of enemies has also been revised with greater variety in your face to face, and monsters like Volatiles and Banshees that appear at night. Overall, the difficulty should therefore be higher. Logical since you are also stronger.
The New Game Plus of Dying Light 2 also consists of a new legendary weapon or even additional platinum objectives for parkour. Finally, the level of enemies fluctuates according to yours.
A more stable game
Dying Light 2 patch 1.3.0 also aims to drastically improve the quality of co-op play. Looping deaths should no longer occur for example. Overall performance should be better, and connection should no longer wobble if you’re with more advanced players in the campaign.
Several technical fixes also focus on making the title more stable with fewer crashes, textures or crappy sounds. For its part, the user interface also has some new features for those who had a problem launching the software at a resolution of 5760×1080. And on PS5 / Xbox Series X|S, players can now adjust the FOV. A very big patchnote that should make your life easier…until the next one!
Despite its bugs, Dying Light 2 boasts huge sales on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
