The premiere of new processors is expected in October this year.
The official announcement of the new 14th generation Intel processors, which are known as Raptor Lake-Refresh, will take place only in October, but their detailed characteristics have already been leaked to the network. Apparently, users are waiting for a significant increase in performance.
According to Videocardz, 14th generation Intel Core processors will provide higher clock speeds across the lineup, but in some cases, users will also get more cores.
According to insiders, the flagship of the new line – Intel Core i9-14900K – will be able to operate at frequencies up to 6 GHz. At the same time, the Core i9-14900KS will operate at up to 6.2 GHz, which will be an absolute record among consumer processors that have not been professionally overclocked.
The Intel Core i7-14700K model will come with an 8P+12E core configuration and will reach 5.6 GHz, while the 14-core Core i5-14600K will reach 5.3 GHz.
Thus, in comparison with the 13th generation, the entire line will significantly increase. If, at the same time, Intel keeps prices at the same level, it will be very good for buyers, the journalists say.

It is mentioned that processors, DDR5 RAM and SSD drives are now record-breaking cheap. Also, after the “death” of mining, the situation with the availability and price of new video cards improved.
Steam statistics show that the GeForce GTX 1650 remains the most popular graphics card among gamers in 2023. As for processors, 6-core models from Intel with a frequency of 2.3-2.69 GHz dominate here. Speaking of RAM, 16 GB of RAM is considered the “golden mean”.
