No official communication for many months, and yet, the HBO series The Last of Us manages to stay in the news (thanks to the leaks!). One of the directors would have dropped crucial information: the date of broadcast.
An early 2023 release for the HBO series The Last of Us?
During an interview with Holod media, director Kantemir Balagov claims that the broadcast of the series TLOU should begin in early 2023 on HBO.
TLOU holds a special place in my heart, so this project was important to me, and it was my first experience on a TV series. The series is still filming and should be released early next year.

The young Russian filmmaker canned the pilot. He thus replaced at short notice Johan Renck, director of the HBO mini-series Chernobyl, who was to fulfill this task. Neil Druckmann, vice president of Naughty Dog and creative director on The Last of Us, also went behind the camera for an episode.
Plenty of surprises?
The Last of Us series will be a mix of completely new sequences and extremely anticipated passages like this cult moment or this other significant scene. In the novelties, the TV show could have an important character who has never shown up in the games. Only his first name was mentioned. The series could therefore fill a hole at this level.
In 2023, PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures should also launch the Twisted Metal series. An adaptation that will rest on the shoulders of Neve Campbell (Scream) and other Hollywood actors.
