Konami unveils the full schedule and the clubs participating in the eFootball Championship 2022. A competition divided into two tournaments: the Pro and the Open with players from all over the world.
Available since April in its full version, eFootball passes the second and communicates on the setting up of its Championship 2022 tournaments.
The eFootball Championship Pro is a competition in which players from the best European clubs compete, thanks to their eSport team. For this 2022 edition, there will be 8 participants: Galatasaray, FC Barcelona, FC Celtic, AS Monaco, AS Rome, FC Bayern München, Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
Like any tournament, this one will have several phases and here are the dates and times.
- Saturday, June 4: draw
- Saturday June 11 and Sunday June 12: group stage days 1 and 2
- Saturday June 18 and Sunday June 19: group stage days 3 and 4
- Saturday, June 25: quarters and semi-finals
- Sunday, June 26: third-place match and final
These clashes will be broadcast on eFootball’s social networks, and prizes will be up for grabs for those who follow this event diligently.
Several campaigns launched by participating clubs will also take place throughout the Championship Pro, and will allow fans to win gifts according to the results of the matches. For more information on campaigns during Championship Pro, please follow official club announcements and in-game news.
Another competition open to all
Secondly, players from all backgrounds will be able to show the extent of their talent on the virtual lawns of eFootball 2022 with the Championship Open. No eSports team needed here, just a console (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One), PC (via Steam) or iOS/Android device.
