We will still have to wait before discovering new images of God of War Ragnarok. The game’s producer spoke up to reassure fans.
Finally some news from God of War Ragnarok. Announced in 2020, the continuation of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus is still awaited. The players have indeed had no information, image or extract to put in their mouths since last year.
Cool things are happening behind the scenes
Some hoped that the fourth anniversary of the game released in 2018 would be a blessed occasion, but it ended up not being the case. Rather than dodging the subject, Cory Barlog, director of God of War, wanted to send a message to the fans to thank them and try to reassure them:
We haven’t said much about God of War Ragnarok, but that’s because everyone is working hard on it. We’re all perfectionists There’s so much going on right now that I wish I could share with you, but it’s just not ready to show yet. I guarantee that the second we have something to share, we will. We don’t want to keep it all to ourselves. Please know that something really cool is coming and we at Santa Monica Studios are extremely grateful for your support.

God of War Ragnarok maintains its release in 2022
With such statements, doubt continues to hover around its release this year. The developers have insisted in recent weeks: the game will not be postponed to 2023. However, the lack of communication worries a majority of fans, and one of the team members wanted to reassure players once again.
Yes, God of War Ragnarok will still be released in 2022, assures Bruno Velazquez, animation director on the project, on his social networks. Of course, things could change by then if Santa Monica Studios needs more time to polish the game. Patience is still in order, but we still hope for an appearance during the Summer Game Fest this summer.
