The French publisher is adding a new studio to its stock, Leikir Studio. The company is responsible for the future Metal Slug Tactics expected for 2022 or even Rogue Lords.
After a name change from Focus Home Interactive to Focus Entertainment, the publisher continues its expansion and studio takeovers galore with a new homegrown acquisition: Leikir Studio. Developers who have their quarters in Ivry-sur-Seine.
Leikir Studio welcomed with open arms into the Focus family
Here is a fifth acquisition for Focus Entertainment in less than two years, a studio that will join Deck13 Interactive (The Surge), Dotemu (TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge), Douze-Tixièmes (Shady Part of Me) and Streum On (Space Hulk: Deathwing).

In its press release, the publisher specifies that this takeover allows it to have “several new production lines with various artistic directions – stylized 3D, pixel-art or 2D”. The developers at Leikir Studio have their work cut out for them as they are currently working on Metal Slug Tactics, which is scheduled for release in 2022 on PC and Nintendo Switch.
