In the middle of Summer Game Fest 2022, Capcom announces its showcase to give back the games previously announced. Apart from Resident Evil 4 Remake 4, Street Fighter 6, Pragmata or Exoprimal, can we expect new games during the event?

The Summer Game Fest 2022 sees its programming grow as it goes. After the Xbox Games Showcase Extended, Capcom also notifies us of its intention to have a dedicated event. Date, time, contents and information.

This Capcom Showcase will go live on Tuesday, June 14 at midnight (on the night of Monday 13 to Tuesday 14), or Monday 13 at 11:59 p.m. if it’s clearer. During 35 minutes, the Japanese publisher will focus on “on previously announced games”. With such a clarification, we must therefore abandon all hope of unpublished announcements.

What to expect from this meeting? The publisher casually has a few games in stock on which to communicate. And the first names that come to mind are the two stars of the last State of Play. Namely Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake. SF6 has already seen its leaker roster, but RE4 Remake gameplay or information on its PS VR 2 version would not be refused.

Other expected games

In addition to these two titles, the Capcom Showcase would be the appropriate place to hear again about the SF game Pragmata, which has been pushed back to 2023. And then there’s also Exoprimal. At first, everything suggested a return of Dino Crisis, until we realize that it was actually a cooperative shooter with dinosaurs.
