Disappointment for many players this week, there is no free game on the Epic Games Store but exclusive content for the publisher’s free-to-play. And next week?
For a few years now it has become a habit. Every Thursday afternoon, the Epic Games Store is giving away a free game. However, the store is shaking up its habits this week and there will be some disappointed.
No Epic Games Store free game this week
Every week, PC players can go to the EGS to pick up one or more games without spending a single euro. A sort of tough routine, but the creators of Fortnite are making an exception this time. Indeed, there are no free games available this week. To highlight and celebrate the recent release of Rumbleverse, its new free-to-play game, Epic Games is offering content for the game.
Players can therefore grab the Boxeur Boum content pack for Brawler Royale from August 18 to August 25 at 5 p.m. French time. It contains, among other things, a helmet, gloves, tank top, boxing shorts and shoes, as well as a fame booster of 120 minutes of play and an exclusive card background and edge. Obviously, the players immediately expressed their disappointment.
What’s next week’s free game?
Back to good old habits next week? Yes, there will be a free game on the Epic Games Store from August 25 to August 1er September at 5 p.m. French time. The return to normal will be with Ring of Pain. In this card game mixing rogue-like and exploration of randomly generated circular dungeons, players will have to make decisions that could prove fatal. Planning your route well will be vital to defeating hostile creatures.
On the program, more than 25 special dungeons, loot galore, terrifying environments, 50 creatures to master and more than 300 objects to unlock. Again, this will be a highly rated free game and very well received by players. It will have the merit of catching up with the cold shower of the week.
