Capcom has just formalized the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake on PlayStation 5. A short trailer shows us the return of Leon and of course Ashley.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is well on its way to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). The first information.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is dated in 2023
Capcom has opened the State of Play with Resident Evil 4 Remake which will be available from March 24, 2023.
This time, we are developing the game with the aim of offering an exceptional level of quality up to what we can expect from a survival horror in 2023, while preserving the essence of the original game. We want fans of the series to rediscover what made the game so successful, while infusing it with new and refreshing elements. A desire that involves rewriting the story while retaining its main plot, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to adapt to current standards.
The confirmation of new elements therefore seems to join a fairly credible rumor. And by the way, the development has been taken over by Capcom internally, with many members of the Resident Evil 2 remake team. Which, on paper, is a guarantee of quality. However, the general story will remain the same. So, we should still hear Ashley screaming in Leon’s ears (everyone can’t wait!).
This first reveal also clarified that RE4 Remake was going to have some “PS VR 2 content” no more info.
