In The Chant, it will be about a New Age sect of the 70s on which we will have to investigate to discover its mysteries.
Jess Briars attends a spiritual retreat in the middle of a remote island. She must then do everything to try to survive against prismatic creatures, released after a ritual chant went wrong, by opening a portal to a nightmarish dimension called “The Darkness”.
Third-person horror action-adventure game, The Chant “will push the player to his limits”. We hope this enticing promise on paper will be kept.
The title is designed in the premises of Brass Token in Vancouver by a team of veterans of the video game industry.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Brass Token is an independent video game studio founded in 2017. Led by a team of veterans who have worked on titles such as Bully, Sleeping Dogs and Gears of War, this team combines their passion for horror and characters to create high-level narrative action games.
The Chant will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in the fall 2022. Between this new software, The Quarry or MaDison, there will be enough to satisfy fans of the genre.
