a big secret already revealed?

If we will have to wait before having official news from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, an actor seems to have spilled the beans on an interesting detail.

Fans of The Legend of Zelda are scrutinizing every image, every trailer for information and clues about Breath of the Wild 2. Good news for them, a popular theory may have been confirmed by the Italian interpreter of this good old Daruk.

Time travel in Breath of the Wild 2?

A Breath of the Wild 2 secret may have already been revealed. Recently postponed to 2023, the game had made the news by having potentially confirmed the arrival of the Nintendo Switch Pro. However, an Italian actor might have revealed a plot element of BOTW 2 beforehand.

Pietro Ubaldi, voice actor for Daruk, has confirmed with fansite Lega Hyrule that he has finished recording some dialogue from the game. So far nothing surprising, except that the actor has indulged in a few confessions. He will not only embody the great warrior Goron, but also his “ancestor”. An ancestor who is not Darunia, but who is more serious than Daruk.

Except that Daruk has already passed away in Breath of the Wild first name. He appears there in the form of a spirit, like the other heroes encountered. These few innocent words seem to confirm a very popular theory within the community. The long-haired Link that appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 trailer is actually the Hero of 10,000 years ago. Some fans even think that it will be possible to cross paths with the very first pilot of Rudania, acting as a dungeon in the Mountains of Death.

Nintendo had also claimed that BOTW 2 would differentiate a little from its predecessors by offering an “expanded world and that the name of the game is kept secret because it contains spoilers. It is therefore very likely that time travel is part of this new opus. However, the hypothesis of playable flashbacks cannot be ruled out and seems a little more probable. In any case, everything seems to indicate that Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is making leaps in time. It only remains to wait for a communication from Nintendo to see if these theories will be confirmed or not.
